Stayed on 9/16/2022: Only a 5 minute walk from Rome airport terminal in a covered walkway with Hilton Hotel signage to direct the way. Warmly greeted by Guest Assistant Michela, fast check-in, very modern and clean room, no issues with either hot water or air conditioning mentioned by other reviews. Fantastic modern hotel with in-hotel restaurant "Ristorante Le Colonne" where we enjoyed both dinner and next morning breakfast. Best Hilton Hotel I've ever stayed in period!
The worst I’ve ever stayed in. Had to stay here after flight canceled. There is a shuttle from the airport but it does drop you behind the hotel and you need to walk all the way around the hotel down an uneven brick path to get to reception. Check in horrible with safe with the box lunch they provided. Drinks in coolers were hot. Bar was closed and didn’t offer any room service. Food provide for box meals looked like dog food. Air conditioner in two rooms were broken along with broke door jam. On top of that we couldn’t get any ice for drinks with the temps being over 100 outside. Worst stay ever in my LIFE. Do. Not. Stay. Here.
The hotel is located near Fiumicino Airport, connected with free bus line, routing every 15 minutes. The staff is professional, no problems with communication in English and also helpful. Rooms are clean, designed in a straight way, equipped with basic articles, such as TV, air conditioner, towels, shower gels, etc. The weakest side of hotel is food, which was monotonous, not well prepared and sometimes not fresh, especially fruits. During our stay, the same fish was on every dinner. Lunches were not popular among residents, maybe as a result of poor menu offer (not many people attended). Generally, tidiness and staff as an advantage, but food definitely could be better.
The hotel is worn and could use a refresh. Was stranded here due to a cancelled flight - if this was my accommodation for more than this purpose I would probably have found another hotel. There is a shuttle from the airport but it does drop you behind the hotel and you need to walk all the way around the hotel down an uneven brick path to get to reception. The staff was friendly and pleasant under the circumstances but dinner was gross. The only other option was pizza (not an option for my gluten intolerance). The worst part was the bed - it felt like I was sleeping on a large old sofa cushion, and there was a clear divot showing it’s age. The lighting in the bathroom was more suited to a police interrogation room, but was relatively clean.
We came from Ukraine when the war there began. Many of us have a children. For about two weeks we live in the hotel, it's not bad and the service is all right. But all this time we cannot forget the hotel in which we lived before. It's Hilton Garden Inn. It's a very comfortable place. We miss the staff on the reception. All of them are highly professional, kind-hearted, attentive people. All our questions, all our difficulties they solved in a few minutes and they are always ready to help everybody with all the problems.
We miss the cooks. They prepare such delicious, various and very tasty dishes. They listen to all our wishes and did their best to cook and the dishes are really nice. The people who work here are also very kind, attentive, always in a good mood. We will remember the people working at this hotel for a long time. And we wish then good luck, good job and good guests.
With deep respect, your Ukrainians
A quick drive from the airport. One should take a staff bus (the shuttle) from the departure level to get to this hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was nice and friendly. Accessibility to the airport is the biggest advantage of this hotel.
As a Diamond member I've never been so annoyed with a Hilton property.
The restaurant is mediocre at best and the service was terrible. Waited for 20 minutes for the waiter to check up on us, but all 3 of them would rather chat amongst themselves then wait on their customers, so we had to walk to the bar and ask for our check.
The beds are terrible. I asked for a king size bed for my wife and I, and what we get are two twin beds pushed together
The breakfast was delicious. The staff was friendly. The bus ride is a bit away from the airport and the only food avaiable without driving is the hotel restaurant which was a bit of a bummer. The beds were comfy. The gym was average. I would recommend this hotel to someone. Convenient for one overnight before out flight.
Modern room. Pavilion Pantry is interesting. Instead of having a stocked fridge, you stock it on your own for the same price. (over priced). Microwave failities is nice. Good variety for breakfast.
Memory foam beds that are pushed together and if you are with your wife, forget cuddling because there is a huge lump in the middle that will give you the worst body aches I've never had such a terrible back ache. The bathroom was fine, but the half glass shower wall left the floor soaking wet. Parking is 20€ a day Even for diamond members Which is insane in my opinion. Breakfast was good with wide selection of choices.
I gave it one star due to charging 20€ for parking and the awful memory foam bed. That is down right criminal.
Very expensive for what it is. Would it so expensive if there were different companies running hotels in the airport? Very anticompetitive situation at the moment.
Lacked any sort of character or charm. Totally sterile and impersonal.
Room was clean and nice. Besides that the waitress at the restaurant was dreadful, she never checked in on my the whole time I was eating. Every time I needed a refill I had to go to walk to the bar and get my refill, I sat with my food for 15 mins waiting for her to come back because I needed more lettuce for my burger so I said "$&@€ it" went to the bar to get my refill and lettuce
The worst part is that it felt like the waitress didn't feel like I had money to pay, like I was a second citizen in that restaurant.
Will not return
Nice rooms and very quick check in.
The shuttle bus is really convenient and the "Coffee to Go"-service was a life saver early in the morning
Nice enough hotel with good breakfast range. Most of what follows is probably more to do with the airline company not communicating with the hotel staff more efficiently. Had an unexpected stay here for one night because a delayed flight caused me to miss my connecting flight. This was unusual situation for the reception staff I guess. A bus load of people were in need of a room. We arrived at 3am. I queued for 2 hours at the reception desk to get a room. Staff were friendly for the whole two hour check in session.
Great room for the price.
The lobby and the hallways aren't fancy but the room was fantastic. Exceptionally clean and large. Separated room for the adults and pull out couch for the kids. Shuttle back was smooth. Getting the Shuttle was tricky for us: driver said he went to Hilton Garden Inn then dropped us off at the full Hilton hotel closer to the airport.
