The location of the hotel is unique. It stands by itself and is built into the cliff. The views are incredible, the staff was friendly and we enjoyed using both pools and taking a dip in the water. We were able to take a bus to get to Positano and we did a boat trip that picked us up at the dock of the hotel. The room was a little small for the price and had ants. The balcony was nice with a great view. The hotel itself was great but the room was a little disappointing.

Amazing place if you want to be tucked away and forgotten by the world for as long as you wish to be there. Ours was a lunch affair in their hidden surprise which was tucked away in the beach down below. Great experience e en if it was a few hours only.

The service and the view are fantastic. The food Not so much. The room (deluxe) was clean, with a killer view from the balcony.

The staff were super helpful, both in reception, and by the pool by the sea. They organised us a day trip on a private boat, and getting in and out of Positano was a breeze by water taxi (20EU each direction).

Overall a very good experience, but the food and decor needs a little help.

Beautiful views in any side, hotel is positioned on cliffs. A lot of steers to the beach good for jogging up and down (you can use the elevator). Amazing place!

Nested on a hill and overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, Grand Tritone is one of the most scenic hotels I have been to.
The best part of the hotel for me were - friendly restaurant staff, great food and dinning experience, amazing view from rooms, direct access to a private beach with a lift, and the fantastic ambience of the hotel.
Things I didn't like - Check-out was not smooth as card machine was not working, beach access was not allowed after 19 (this was in May 2016 and may vary), and Internet was not great.

All in all it is a fantastic place to spend your holidays. It's a family run hotel so don't expect 5-star hotel service levels (although it might be as expensive as 5-star hotel)
