It's a wonderful hotel with very helpful staff especially that we arrived without our luggage. The location is great, close to piazza and the market and also at a decent driving distance from Pompeii, Amalfi coast and Naples. I felt it's a bit over priced for a 5 star compared to better 5 star hotels we stayed at in Europe! They have a room service charge on every order you make to the room, which I didn't quite like. Also, don't try their massages, not so great!

Our experience was not pleasant on arrival there was no booking as the hotel now has rules to sent an email 5 days prior to arrival to confirm of which we had no knowledge also email was not available to me at this time .there was a mistake on the date of credit card and there was no response to this at all until 5 days prior to arrival to which my email was not working. The booking was made 3 months prior.It would have been courteous to know that at the time. The manager offered another hotel which was not suitable. Then he proceeded to yell and kick us out. He said he had been insulted and told us to get out off his hotel in an abusive angry loud voice. The luggage was put in the street and we were left to find other accommodation. We would advise any one to take care when booking this hotel .This is not professional behaviour but wild yelling at customers he was totally out of control . Be aware the staff were stunned.

We had an utterly outstanding evening here. Despite arriving dressed in scruffy and sweaty motorcycle clothing, we were treated like royalty by the highly attentive host. We were seated in a beautiful balcony area and given an excellent explaination of the menu. Our food was spectacular, made even better by the amazing singer/guitarist duo serenading the tables and a lovely offshore firework show. The meal was pricey (€100 or so), but the quality and service left us feeling that this was a bargain.

Hotel Grand Ambassadors was just fabulous, beautiful and impressive. We were only there for one night, but had the most wonderful experience. The staff was friendly, helpful and ever so pleasant. The setting was absolutely spectacular, right on the ocean. The view was spectacular. One thing that I really loved was the breakfast. The breakfast had everything you could want and each item was superbly delicious. We wish we could have stayed there longer!
