Immerse yourself in nature! Could be maintained slightly better but overall a beautiful place and worth a visit. Probably it is nicer and more of a refreshing stop in Summerwe visited on November, very peaceful.

Great fun. There are two ways down: steps/ stairs are much cheaper 1.5 euros, the other is via the lifts which 'unofficially' cost 10 euros which includes the country park and is nearer the car park (which I believe is actually free). Check out one of the last photos. Since we had a baby, we just wanted to simplest way and so elected to pay the 10euro.
The gorge is great fun. Whilst the country park is a reasonable way to spend another half hour or so but isn't that great.response / report this review -

Lots of steps to get to the bottom but well worth it. Extremely cold water when we visited in October but the views up the gorge are brilliant. Make sure you have shorts as the water was above knee height in places. One of the highlights of our visit.

A very beautiful place to explore. Very well layed out and very well maintained. Reception spoke good English. Definitely worth the visit. September was a good time to visit.

Visited at the beginning of September. Very disappointed. The place was unloved and not looked after. The majority of the gorge was closed off , only one lift working and in disrepair. You have to pay to use the steps down to the gorge, in addition to the entrance fee! It is obvious that the owners have never heard of health and safety. The staff were unfriendly and unwelcoming, would definitely not recommend a visit. It is a shame as with some love and attention it could be beautiful.

Great views must visit if around Taormina/Catania. Reserve a full day depending if u wanna lay down and go into water.

The place is superb and we'll maintained. If you want to spare a bit, buy the tickets in Taormina or in another collaborating site, so you pay 8 euro in place of 15. If you plan to do body rafting, bring your own diving suite if you can and want to spare. Fluvial activities only with optimal weather. Gorgeous and nice fir kids too. Just one note: the elevator tower is quite awful, it should be renovated according to the environment. The dressing room for fluvial activities are near to sufficience, but guides are friendly and caring.

Great natural canyon, beautiful basalt rocks, that's worth a five star rating. During high season and good weather however it will be extremely crowded.
If you go through the main entrance you can use the elevator, it will cost you €13 per person.
Tip: There are also a communal stairs that will cost you only €2,- ( park at the main entrance, walk out again on the road to the left, you'll find the communal entrance after a few hundred meters at the left. it will save you €11 per person (and half an hour of waiting at the cash register on busy days).
You'll not see the "botanical gardens" but you won't miss a thing
best time to visit is from April to June and September to October.response / report this review -

The gole is a nice place to visit. It offers some beautiful views. However it is really commercial with paid parking and access to the Gole starting at €8 for normal entrance and €13 including the botanical garden. The water is freezing but worth to dive in on a hot day.
