The food was more than excellent. The staff were great and so friendly. I would recommend it for everyone visiting Florence.
Golden View had great view of the Arno river (hence the name), but I've had much better meals for the price. The restaurant is clean and modern, but the portions are very small. If you're ordering pasta it's ok, but meat and fish you only get a few bites. Meal for four with wine (no apps) ran me about $250.
Perfect! Best diner in Firenze in days. Service was sublime. Friendly, helpful, correct clean and nice atmosphere. Live music little more pricy but you get what you pay for.
Nice view of Florence. Service was nice. Modern setting. Little pricey. Walk a little further and there are better places.
We were recommended to go to this restaurant by the owner of a local clothes store. So after our big day of shopping and sight seeing we stumbled in all hot and tired. The air con combined with the friendly waiter helped revive our spirits. As we recharged, we enjoyed the great view of river, ate tasty pizza and pasta and drink local wine from 2001. The place is nice and clean, bathrooms were modern and well kept (unlike many in Florence!.) expect to pay >€50'per head for 2 courses and a glass of wine, easily add another £30ph if you want a reasonable wine. 12% service charge on bill. Overall very pleasant dinner
Excellent food, we really enjoyed superb wine and a very gentle service! 5 stars is a must
Great view of Ponte Vecchio! Nice mod style restaurant with a great selection of wines. Food is ok. Agree you pay for the view. Live jazz on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. No booking necessary if you're eating early.
Perfect location. Get there early and get a terrace table in room 1 for the best view in Florence. The food is solid but not great. Good wine list and helpful staff.
We were walking towards another restaurant when I saw a sign for wine tasting. Being a sucker for that, immediately stopped.
The folks were nice enough to serve us for the tasting even though it was 2 hours past the time they do tasting.
Opened 3 new bottles for us. All of the wines were excellent. I eventually bought one- a Bolgheri.
Met a chef from Ludhiana- what luck yaar!
Everything was great. In fact perfect. We sat on the street. The inside is huge with great views.
The only thing - but that's me- I would change is the name. In all the Italian sounding names, this seems out of place. When we mentioned the names to others later- it just sounded too touristy. May be that is the intention.
Would I go back again- yes.

Wants to be modern and sleek and this place succeeds for the most part in this regard. Good views of the Arno can be had through large windows facing the river. The location is good if you want to be in a tourist heavy area. Didn't try the food but the cocktails were decent. The biggest drawback were the prices, however on a hot day the air conditioning makes the costs a bit more reasonable.
