Beautiful hotel, fantastic rooms, great service, lovely location and friendly stuff. Although my holiday break was disturbed by the strict rules and regulations of the hotel, like: you cannot have a club sandwich by your pool seating area, instead you must have it at the bar/restaurant seating area, the gardner noisy edge work when I would have rather relax and the serious problem with wasps and flies by the buffet area. I was tempted to rate it a 3 stars I went for 4 hoping things will improve.

Un buon hotel tanta professionalità . Ristorante discreto. Peccato la piscina coperta freddina. E ambienti freddi..infatti dovevamo fare massaggi e percorso benessere ma abbiamo cambiato idea. Per il resto consigliato sicuramente.

Bellissima esperienza.
Ottima la stanza con terrazzo e idromassaggio, molto pulita.
Anche il ristorante ottimo.

Clearly a 5 star hotel that has run into some hard times; a queen whose crown has slipped. There are many parts that appear unused and dilapidated, grounds that were once beautiful now barely maintained with dried up fountains and broken floodlights and a general air of trying to keep costs down. Having said that, the parts that are looked after are of a very high standard, the staff are friendly and helpful and the food is very good (though the buffet breakfast became a bit samey after a few days). The indoor and outdoor pools are great, the gym modern and well equipped and the spa enjoyable. The bus service to the hotel's own beach was not running however. A hire car is essential; the hotel is in the middle of nowhere. The bonus (in Sep '13), was a hotel practically to ourselves! Overall, an unusual but pleasant hotel.
