Review of restaurant only. Location is nice, with a great view. The garden next to the terrace lures you for an after dinner dip in the pool. The food however is really a turndown. The fish of the day platter for starter looked fine but lacked refinement in taste. The Raw Tuna Linguini had cooked tuna and was served with a sauce that looked and tasted suspiciously similar to the Linguini a la Bottarga and pistachio sauce. We could clearly taste the similarity because the latter lacked Bottarga completely. Lesson learned: for good food in this area just visit the local restaurants that are cheap and unpretentious. Will try the pizzeria on Scopello's main square tomorrow.

Review of food, not hotel.
Excellent service, great location however the food was not great especially given the price premium. Felt food was too "one dimensional" with the same flavour in each dish meaning it got boring quickly. The seafood starter was good, seafood risotto was not great and the pasta Genovese was just too "one flavoured". Lots of good reviews online though, we preferred nettuno.response / report this review -

We only went for dinner. Very good food and service, it was full but they brought in another table and set it up for us. Couldn't ask for more
