Auto upgraded to Executive suite, pleasantly surprised. Spacious rooms, ambience was great, atmosphere was cordial and relaxed, friendly staff.
Breakfast was great, variety of fruits for vegetarians.response / report this review -

We stayed in the economy room to begin with which was quite tiny. But then upgraded to a bigger room for €10 per night. It was totally worth it as it was much better. Location of the hotel is great, staff is friendly. No complaints

The place is nice, the people working there are also nice and very helpful. Our room was on the 5th floor with a nice small balcony and very calm. NB of some decorations are removed the place from the inside will look better. These decorations makes it look like a cheap place instead of a nice authentic building that it is.

Wow. I have not seen a dirtier hotel before. This is definitely not a 4 star hotel. We arrived after midnight - the room we got had not been dusted in ages - old furniture, old carpets, funky smell, tiny bed with a horribly uncomfortable matress. Not to mention the old carpet. We requested a room change and it was even worse - stains on the walls, worn fixtures in the bathroom. We up having to look for a new hotel in the middle of the night as it was more than unacceptable.
The staff was friendly enough and did not seem surprised at our complaint. The only good thing about the hotel is the central location.response / report this review -

The location is amazing. Centrally located to all the attractions. Breakfast was good too. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is due to lack of air conditioning, our breakfast wasn't included even though we know we booked it to include it, and our to was small.

Ideally situated in central Rome this is a pleasant, modern hotel, even though it's in an old building! Our room was clean and tidy with typically Italian decor. We had the good fortune to get a room with a balcony overlooking the city which was a nice surprise. Staff are excellent and breakfast is varied in the modern and stylish restaurant. Recommended.

Our first room was so small that the only place for my suitcase was the floor in front of the door. We were moved to a much better room the next night and have plenty of room. The breakfast is plentiful but poor quality. We went across the street to eat the second day. I do not plan to stay here again.

There is only one plug to charge your phone. You will need a universal adapter if your chargers or whatever you are trying to connect is not an Italian plug. There is no conditioner offered. You have to buy your own. The location is great! Walking distance to major site seeing places and shopping.
