  Booked four days before for a dinner with friends.
  Coming from Pisa we opted to leave early and in fact we arrived there at 19:30, when the reservation was for 20.
  Despite the fact that the restaurant was indicated to open at 7pm, the gate was closed so we called to inquire.
  It turns out that they had decided to stay closed for that evening, and despite our reservation they didn't even have the foresight to call to warn.
  Rude to say the least.
  Too bad because the place looks inviting and we wanted to come and eat there sometime, but now we won't be back for sure.
  Not recommended.

  Came to this place inspired by the TV programme "Camionisti in Trattoria". Huge portions but no compromise on quality! Classic pasta with a boar ragú is sitting on the menu next to the pasta made with blueberries and served with a ragú of raindeer. Sgabei - a sort of tiny savoury donuts - are served with a more than generous platter of cured meats and cheese.
  There was no room left to try their profiteroles with limoncello - clearly an excuse to come back
  
  Mind that they are only open for dinner on weekdays, and lunch and dinner on the weekends.

  Suggested by locals, this was a pure gem. Plate with mozzarella and Italian ham along with ravioli with spinach and ricotta cheese plus torta nona (always house wine - red) - was perfect.
