A beautiful location overlooking the Anacapri coast with delicious home cooked style Italian dishes. The zucchini with scormoza on home made pasta was a stand out. After the great food, a five minute walk takes you to an amazing lookout where you can watch the sunset over the ocean. Highly recommend!

So disappointed. Read lovely reviews about this hotel and had planned to visit it as a relaxing middle stop in a busy holiday to Sorrento and the Almalfi Coast. Unfortunately the hotel made a mistake with our booking due to either 'big rain' or a wedding that clashed with the dates we booked, it was hard for us to work out the real reason. Da Gelsomina put us up in a hotel in down town Anacapri - not the idyllic, remote location we had planned, and offered us a complimentary dinner in their restaurant. None of this has really served to help with the disappointment after months of planning this holiday.

We went here twice during our honeymoon since we loved the seafood pasta dish so much. Also the service was great and the staff extremely friendly! Highly recommended!!!

Though not expensive necessarily, it seemed overpriced for what we got. The mixed seafood was fresh but i suspect the swordfish was frozen. However other diners seemed to really enjoy the pasta. The pop music radio playing in the dining room seemed lazy, like they didn't care about the ambiance. DO NOT order the house made wine. Unbound sulphur for days

A bit pricey, but great food. Friendly service, but slow & leisurely at times but hey, you're in Italy, so definitely a place you would not want be rushed, & instead take your time to chat over dinner & enjoy the beautiful views of vineyards meeting the ocean. Was able to catch a gorgeous sunset. We arrived early for our dinner reservation and the host graciously offered us glasses of champagne & recommended we sip & take a stroll along a short pathway to the viewpoint overlooking the ocean. He informed us that many weddings & engagement proposals have occurred therelittle did he know that that is exactly what my sister's boyfriend was planning to do! So the complimentary champagne was perfect for the occasion! Made for such a perfect engagement proposal & story!

Seriously one of the best kept secrets of Capri!I dream of their pasta - I had the pasta with smoked cheese and zucchini. Best dish I had throughout my stay on Capri!

We always find a way to get there when in Capri. They will pick you up anywhere on the Anacapri side and drop you off, which is great. Highly recommend any seafood pasta and local grilled vegetables on the side.
