Walking from airport terminal requiers some effort - but hotel itself is cosy.

Hotel with great quality and well located for the airport but it is expensive and has no services around it.

It is in close proximity of the airport and the hotel provide an airport shuttle (5€ pp) which is very useful. The room was clean, large and felt quite luxurious for the amount of money paid. The restaurant is very nice, prices seem to be a little high for some thibgs but the quality os very good. Staff were friendly and it was a comfortable night's sleep.

It is always bad at a hotel when the personnel think that they are better than the clients. Unfortunately it is the case here, especially the barman who's a total prick. The guy needs an education in client management or maybe better, another job somewhere else.

Location is great if you've got an early flight. Staff is friendly and the hotel is clean. Could have used a bit more quality furnishing

Rooms are big and comfortable and well equipped. The walls are thin and can get noisy inside the rooms. The restaurant food is decent and the serving ok. I'll say this place looks better then it is.

TLDR; Soulless, overpriced hotel that double charged my credit card and refuses to refund

The sad airport hotel sits in a drab industrial estate, cursed by a one-way system that actually makes it pretty inconvenient for getting to the airport - perhaps its only selling point. Anyway, not to dwell too much on this concrete monstrosity, but rather the service we received while there and the fact that the hotel seems to be a facade for a credit-card scamming business.

We booked a night here through the official website, and were then dismayed to find out that the hotel had put through two charges for the same amount. When we contacted the hotel, they acknowledged that they had put two transactions through, but said that they were non refundable, but we would give us credit in the restaurant. When we remonstrated, they still wouldn’t move, and claimed that we had made two bookings. They had indeed sent two identical booking confirmations at exactly the same time, which one can only assume is a technical error on their website - it’s impossible to make two bookings in such short succession.

When we arrived in the evening, no mention was made of this supposed ‘second room’ that we had booked. Having come from a long wedding that day, we waited until the following morning to sort out the daylight robbery the hotel was attempting on me.

The receptionists claimed that they weren’t able to refund, and that we should take it up with the management of the hotel.

The hotel management has so far refused to even acknowledge an email, presumably because they are too busy fleecing other unsuspecting tourists.

    Other points:

The hotel serves a breakfast of what looked like processed ham and stale bread. This costs €12/head. We decided to go to a nearby Cafe Parisi, a 3 minute walk away, and had a delicious breakfast of coffee, arancini, and croissants for €2 a head.

We have already reported this hotel to the Sicilian Tourist Board, who will also be investigating.

Great place to stay, close to the airport and staff is very courteous. Events ongoing through the stay and the view around the building is less desirable but the views inside were spectacular.

Very good staff and hotel is well kept. We had an early flight and we were offered a light breakfast at 0500.
