Four stars only because the Castle is not usually open to the public. As a student of Politecnico I was able to go on a tour but I would call before and see if you can arrange a visit. Today it is the center of the architectural department at Politecnico. THe castello (actual residence of the Savoy) was the predecessor to the much better visited "Venaria Reale" THere is some pretty incredible stucco work and some of the murals are quite impressive. Sometimes events are held here and artistic works are sometimes displayed on the bottom floor or in some of the upper rooms. Incredible view of the Po.
