Beautiful place but appalling service (or lack of it) No tea or coffee in the room, no restaurant in the hotel, no internet in the suite and no one answers calls after 9 pm. Spotlessly clean.
Valentina, the manager was very helpful though. She gave us a tour of the place. I was amazed at her knowledge of history.
There are other equally nice places to stay in that part of Italy. Villa Paola in San Martino Sulla Marruccina is about 15 minutes drive but the service is amazing and the place is charming-moved there the next day. Overall, lovely old castle but could do with some more customer service in terms of staffing,food etc.response / report this review -

Location storica dell'Abruzzo, l'ideale per chi vuole trascorrere un finesettimana 'fuori dagli schemi' o chi vuole festeggiare in modo 'regale' un evento particolare.
Il personale é a completa disposizione per la degustazione dei vini e gli oli della Casa, altamente consigliati.
Location di eventi serali a tema.
Le camere storiche del Castello sono rimodernate nel segno del gusto Masciarelli-Cvetic.

Absolutely wonderful place, feels magic. Employees are great and took care of everything, I felt welcomed and I will definitely come back for a longer stay. Wines are unbelievably good and there's the entire selection to chose from.
