Spectacular place in the middle of nowhere, at least to a tourist. We had a great stay here - plus the dinner was good!

Stunning Architecture, lovely people, breathtaking views over Langhe and Roero, tastiest food in the region at incredible fair prices. I go back everytime i can.

Overpriced for quality and quantity. Poor wine and stingy portions. Asked for complementary amaro, was told I should consider buying the bottle after we paid 800€. This is not how things are done in Italy, I am ashamed. You should consider going some place else, the area is full of truly great places.

Like being at your uncles amazing Italian mansion where you can just hang out. Amazing food morning, afternoon and evening. Just fantastic!

2014.09.07: This place is the real thing! We went here for lunch, and it's fantastic! It's an agriturismo, which is a combination a bed & breakfast and farm. It's out in the hills in the countryside surrounding Alba, and the location is incredibly beautiful. The building itself has a very rustic and authentic feeling to it, and the courtyard in front was filled with people relaxing and enjoying themselves. There's a giant wooden boat for children to play on. The food and wine were outstanding, and even more impressive, lots of the food is biodynamic and grown right on the grounds. There's a quote from Rudolf Steiner on the wall right when you go in. And the decorations and ambiance are incredible: exposed stone walls and awesome. I can only imagine how cozy this place must be in the night time!
