Wonderful place hosted by a charming lady who is actually one of the perfect hosts I've ever met.
Perfect location and guidance from the host about what is worth visiting, where to walk, eat and drink.

Extremely pleasant stay in Catania! Cristina and Rob are amazing hosts, very helpful, knowledgeable and eager to help. The hotel is very cosy, clean and situated close to most of the landmarks. The owners make you feel at home almost immediately and what a warm home it is! One of the best B&B experiences in my life! Kudos for that and I highly recommend staying at 5 Balconi! :)

What a great place! Very conveniently situated, one easy bus ride from the airport and within walking distance of the centre of town. Cristina speaks perfect English and is very helpful. The breakfast was excellent. There are plenty of decent restaurants nearby. Also it's reasonably priced. What more can I say?

We really appreciated the help given by Rob and Christina to make our cycling trip to sicily so successful. I would recommend this B&B to other cyclists because it was possible to leave bike boxes and collect them on return. It is also only ten minutes by taxi to the airport and yet a short walk to the city centre.

We spent 3 great nights at 5 Balconi B&B. Christina was so friendly and welcoming and really made us feel at home. Even supplying some Rose and Limoncello for an early evening drink. The B&B is wonderfully decorated. Christina keeps it super clean and very comfortable.

Christina was a great source of restaurant & bar recommendations - with the B&B being an easy walk to all the main sights of Catania. She even gave us a great tip to avoid the tours to climb Mt Etna and do it on our own.
