Had a great stay at the hotel Roma. The rooms were huge, and in a perfect location, close to the main square and laneways full of restaurants and bars. My highlight at the hotel was by far the breakfast each morning. You sat on the lovely courtyard outside and the selection was large and delicious. A must stay.

The hotel is situated in the heart of Ortigia with immediate access to most beautiful streets and little alleys offering stunning views of architecture and views to the Med. The staff are extremely friendly at checkin. Unfortunately the rooms are equipped with the smallest showers that I have encountered in entries Sicily. There is no placeholder for your shampoo and soap so you end up showering kneel down in a claustrophobic shower cabinet. The air condition was turned off automatically at night from the central controls so better to open windows and enjoy the salty air while you sleep. I would always come back to this hotel although please fix your showers. Arrivederci!
