  Great location, quiet yet only a short walk to the centre. Friendly and helpful staff. Superb views of the bay and Vesuvius.

  Just returned from a very enjoyable week's holiday in the Hotel Admiral. The view from the hotel must be the best in Sorrento. All the staff were friendly, helpful and committed to making your stay a happy one. The food was fine and the bedroom was clean. This is a gem of an hotel in a charming location. Would be happy to stay there again.

  Amazing location with views to match, definitely the best view from any hotel in the area provided you can get a front facing room. This comes with a cost, however. The hotel is based at the bottom of Marina Grande, meaning any trip into town is preceded with an up hill walk some might find difficult. Personally, for the views, I found it completely worth the effort. The rooms are clean and the staff are very friendly. Water pressure varies with the number of people using it at the time, so showers can be a little hit and miss (based on a stay in the top floor). The food is decent enough, though we preferred to visit the many outstanding local restaurants any opportunity we had.
  
  If I have the chance to visit sorrento again, I personally wouldn't consider any other hotel. I've never had a more relaxing hotel experience in my life, and the price of admission is worth the breathtaking views alone.

  Rooms are mostly clean, major no no in the bathroom was the toilet brush holder was half full of, well that's obvious and on the hotter days it stunk.
  Otherwise the room was clean.
  Food was a big let down, breakfast was fine no problems there. Evening meal however was not good, fish full of bones, pork rarer than I would even have steak, burnt food. Food slapped on plates with no care at all. A big turn off for me was a day when I ate half of my bread roll with soup during tidying the table up I noticed the bread roll didn't go in the usual food waste, it went back in the bread basket, I was shocked, the waiter only noticed it was half eaten when it was put in the basket with the rest. They did this with them all from every table that didn't eat them. How many tables had my bread roll been on before I ate it.
  Some of the younger waiters seem like they have no interest in the job at all, was rather off putting the way they handled people's food.
  
  The only redeeming feature of the hotel is the views from the sea view rooms, excellent.

  Glorious week. Views were amazing, staff were so friendly. Food was good although vegetarian daughter struggled a little more.
  
  Am adding pictures of menus as we had trouble finding examples before we came.

  Beautifully located hotel, staff very friendly and helpful! Highly recommend the sea view rooms as the view is stunning across the bay of Naples and over to Vesuvius.

  Just returned from ten days staying at this hotel.
  Probably the best location in Sorrento in my opinion.
  The rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean; towels changed daily and free towels available for pool use.
  The staff are fantastic, very helpful and a font of information regarding the area.
  I thought that the quality and choice of food in the restaurant was excellent; I ate there every day and loved the menu choices.
  When it comes to views, the hotel has an uninterrupted view right across the sea to Vesuvius in all its magnificence.
  I would go back to this hotel any time.
