Fascinating place - literally a church in the wild. Took 70 years to build from 1218 and then had to be abandoned a couple of centuries later.

Strepitosa già solo la strada per arrivare. Vista in una giornata di bel tempo è spettacolare. Salendo wine bar, a fianco della spada nella roccia, offre piatti con affettati e formaggi locali ottimi

Il sito di San Galgano è costituito dall'eremo e dalla grande abbazia. Un luogo incantevole e romantico, definito “L’abbazia a cielo aperto”. Da visitare!
