This place is absolutely wonderful. Better than the big hotels. There’s a full kitchen for the guests to use, rooms are comfortable and warm. The bathrooms are nice and clean. The owner, Magnus, makes breakfast and fresh ground coffee in the morning for the guests. He’s very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and good to chat with. The sun room next to the kitchen is beautiful and a pleasure to have breakfast in. They have two dogs who were also very friendly to guests. There is a river out back that’s good for a morning/evening walk. Location is also very close to the geysir/gullfoss area. Only downside was that the wifi sometimes cuts in and out. Overall an absolute pleasure to stay at this place. 100% would stay again next time I’m here.

Sehr schönes Haus und sehr nette Gastgeber. Küche kann mit benutzt werden. Sehr sehr schöne Umgebung. Zuweg sehr steinig und nur geschottert.

This is a very nice and relaxing place. The rooms are nice and clean, it's quiet and peaceful, the views are great, and there's a nice breakfast. The dining room is made of glass and has vines with grapes in the ceiling. I would definitely stay here again.

Das Hotel ist ein Familienbetrieb mit wenigen Zimmern im Anbau und liegt zwischen Gewächshäusern. Sehr sauber und ordentlich. Zimmer ein wenig eng. Küche zur Benutzen vorhanden, es ist scheinbar die Küche der Gastgeberfamilie und daher komplett ausgestattet. Sehr schöner Wintergarten. Günstig gelegen für Ausflüge zu den Geysiren, Gullfoss, Skaholt und den Krater Kerid. Hinter dem Haus ist ein warmer Bach und es gibt sehr nette Hunde auf dem Gelände.

I stayed for a night in early May with two friends. The compound is large and beautiful. The dogs are lovely to play with and had me missing my owns dogs quite sorely. The entire place is tidy and smells wonderful, the WiFi is strong and fast all throughout the guesthouse, and the breakfast spread is beyond anything you could hope for: meats, cheeses, toast, jam, hard-boiled eggs, three kinds of cereal, 3 kinds of milk, various fruits, and a choice of coffee, tea, or orange juice. The owners woke up to serve us that breakfast spread 2 hours earlier than normal to accommodate our early departure. We could not have been more impressed.
