This was an incredible find. The family Who owns it is so nice and the food was fresh. I loved my seafood soup it had vegetables and local fish. We also got to the fish and chips which was absolutely mouth watering. Do not miss your chance to come by Brúin, especially if you’ll be down the road at the blue Lagoon. Grindavik’s best seafood and local eats.

What a surprising place! The outside doesn't look much, but inside it was warm and well spaced. We had a pizza buffet which was extremely generously portioned and we were given the left overs to take away. Lovely clean toilets as well.

Enjoy simple but tasty food with a nice view of the harbor. Mostly fish although they serve other dishes as well. Quiet atmosphere and free WiFi in a cozy fishing town make this a place worth visiting.

Sure it's amazing, but we missed as our guide from Reykjavik Excursions had a sweet heart deal with Bryggjan and didn't give us directions or the option to go.

Nice view, typical icelandic prices. Pay at the bar and order, then sit, like in most of Iceland. The fish tasted fresh and the batter on it was super light and crispy. I had an apple cake with carmel and it was perfect. The hours posted are not correct, as we were welcomed in with smiles at 8:30 and several others came in after us. A great option just a quick walk from the campsite.

Good fish and chips. Not the best meal we had in Iceland. The man who served us was friendly and efficient. Restaurant itself is dated but clean with great views.

Friendly service with simple fare, but the fish stew was excellent with the fish and chips also very good. Accompanied by tasty bread and a couple of mediocre Viking beers it was, as with most restaurants in Iceland, very expensive at $54.00.

The service was rather poor: we only got bread on request, and they did not give us bread plates or butter. The plates also came out one at a time, which was rather awkward. We had to ring a bell to pay our bill.

The food was quite good though: the fish stew was tasty, and their fries are amazing. Their desserts were also delicious (we tried the meringue cake and the chocolate cake).
