Unfriendly staff. Out of many common ingredients. Similarly priced meals with far better accommodation and flavor within walking distance. Spare yourself the hassle of this place.

I don’t recall ever having tasted food in my 24 years of living that was this good. Great spot to grab lunch or dinner. The salmon is tremendous!

After really looking forward to going here, the portions were a bit small and the service was a bit 'serve and forget '. No follow up, asking if it was ok or do we want anything else or even if we wanted to pay our bill. Walked out without as much as a bye your leave!!

Honestly one of the best restaurants in town and it‘s not that expensiv how you expect for iceland. I had a steak (200g), curly fries and corn for approximately 19€.

The only reason this gets 3 stars is that the price and the food was good. We had to wait more than twenty minutes to order when there were just three tables finishing up their lunch around us. Then we were told that there are only 3 lunch steaks left and the catch of the day is out. She didn't tell us that when we were shown our table.
They also didn't clear empty Pepsi bottles from the table. After a long wait the food arrived which was actually quite good.response / report this review -

Was looking forward to this but disappointed on so many levels. A soulless atmosphere and a very bland plate of food. I ordered the t- bone (medium). It was a second rate cut of meat and certainly did not expect such poor quality for the price. I paid but to be honest it felt like the staff just dipped my pockets. Would not recommend.

I love a good steak but didn't find one here.
Steaks are my favorite and I enjoy eating at many of the best steakhouses around the world.
Maybe my expectations were too high.
I took my kids for dinner at 6pm on Saturday. The resteraunt told us they could seat us if we would commit to being out of there in 2 hours. While that wasn't an issue I can't recall ever having a good resteraunt make a similiar request.
We were seated and given menus and then ignored. After a while I tried to get attention but everyone was busy or at least not in main area of resteraunt. (Note only few tables were full). After a half an hour I started to sweat the two hour time commitment. Finally our waiter appeared and took order. I asked if any suggestions or dishes for kids. No said waiter. Okay.
I ordered large ribeye steak and some chicken and a lamb main dish and a number of sides. My kids did like there dishes and sides. Unfortunately my steak was badly cooked and had wrong sause. When I managed to get waiter attention he argued and told me it was what I ordered. Maybe they mixed up orders but I have ordered many steaks and don't order good steaks overcooked.
My expectations for a good steak place are a good piece of beef cooked correctly with service that complements the meal. This resteraunt failed on each measure.
