  Driving from Grundarfjördur to Mývatn we stopped in this town for a quick lunch. We were pleasantly surprised with the friendliness of the host/waiter. He's very knowledgeable of the area and is eager to talk about Icelandic culture. Food was fantastic, especially the fish soup. Fish and chips are perfectly battered and moist. If you are on 59 or 60 driving around this area make sure to stop by if you are hungry.

  Friendly no frills restaurant with lovely food well presented and cooked. Plenty of parking just at the front. Heartily recommended.

  After seeing pictures of food here, IM SO DISSAPOINTED TO GET THIS SAD SAD FISH AND CHIPS!!!! Do not recommend, clearly leftovers they substituted with fries. i would have just ordered a plate of fries in that case! And still charging 2500

  Best seafood dinner we had in the 8 days spent circling Iceland. The catch of the day (blue mussels and fries) and the fish soup exceeded expectations. Definitely worth every penny. One caveat, it opened at 1800 today. Not sure if thats a regular opening time

  Fantastic fish and chips at a great price, especially after traveling the Ring Road for a week. Service was perfect as well.
