הפארק תינגוואטליר שגם נבחר ע"י אונסק"ו לאתר מורשת עולמית הוא המקום היחיד על פני כדור הארץ שבו ניתן לצפות בלוחות טקטוניים כאשר הם מורמים מעל פני הקרקע. בשביל הכניסה לפארק ניתן להלך בין הלוחות של אמריקה ואירופה ולהרגיש לרגע ממש גדולים. במקום ישנן גם מפל מים מרהיב ובריכות מים עמוקות וצלולות עם גשרונים מעליהן. הנוף מעל העמק מראש סלע התצפית ששייך ליבשת אמריקה הוא עוצר נשימה.
