We can't say enough nice things about our stay here! Clean, cozy room, plenty of bathrooms, lovely to have coffee and yogurt available and the proprietor was very friendly and helpful. Wish we could have stayed more than one quick night!

The owner is frienly, the rooms are modern, spacious and very comfortable. Fantastic, beautiful location and very peaceful. No breakfast served but a restaurant is within walking distance

Don’t let guesthouse and shares bathroom put you off of this place. The place is very modem and clean. The owner is lovely and welcoming. The rooms are nice, little sink in each one and the location is a few miles from Jökulsárlón lagoon (iceberg lagoon) and diamond beach and the price is good too. Free tea, coffee and skyr around the clock. Would recommend.

This was a decent place to stay in Hali but a bit busy (many other guests). I prefer AirBnB because they are more private/quiet. This was conveniently located for our ice cave tour though. Very clean and the staff was nice.

This Skyrhusid guest house saved us! During a bad snow storm with road closings, we were searching for a place to stay for the night at midnight. The hotel next door wouldn't open their office for us, so we tried the Skyrhusid. Not only were they very nice and welcoming here, but it was a better price than the Hali Country Hotel! The rooms and bathrooms were very nice and clean. The free skyr for guests was a nice touch too. Thank you Skyrhusid!!!

Located just 10 mins east of the Jokulsarlon glacier lagoon, with two restaurants within 1-minute walking distance, it was perfect for us after a long day of driving & sightseeing. Basic but large rooms with plenty of power plugs for all our electronics to charge up, plus a handy in-room basin and large windows for viewing the aurora, if you're lucky! The communal cooking/dining space was small but suitable for our need. Shared bathrooms were no problem at all as we never had to wait to use them. Good shower pressure too – I appreciate good shower pressure! Would recommend for the location, friendly staff, proximity to restaurants and complimentary skyr!

Great place to see the aurora, super friendly owner too! We each got a skyr when we arrived. This place feels really cozy and I'd recommend it if you're looking for a place to stay!

Great location for Glacier Lagoon, very clean and decent facilities. But our room was cold so I took a heater I saw in the corridor! Kitchen is just a microwave. Great but expensive restaurant next door.

Good location. But this is definitely a hostel. The staff wasn't there when we checked in. The "dining/kitchen area" is 1 meter away from the front door. Nothing looks like the review or the photos online. It's terrible and also extremely expensive for what it is. I wouldn't mind it if it's hostel price or half price of what it is.
