Clean showers (400pp) and toilets, delicious pizza (2200) and beer on tap! (1000).
We did end up showering with cold water, despite having paid for it. They charge 1,200pp for camping or parking your campervan, but they do not let you eat inside your own food even if its snowing outside.

Had a great experience here the pizza was fantastic and fresh tapped beer. The campgrounds were great for car camping and had clean bathrooms and decent showers

Had such a great night here at the bar talking with the owner (Jon) and a few great guests. Do yourself a favor and camp here and spend some time in the bar. Such a cool place. Reason enough to come back to Iceland (and try to see the northern lights) 🇮🇸 ❄

We stayed here during October and we arrived late at night. The owner is a really nice guy and laid back. He waited for us to arrive and we had a few drinks with him and another customer. In the morning, we ordered a pizza and it was delicious. Definitely worth the stop.

Nothing beer than cold beer on tap just next to your campsite. Great location, good beer, clean facilities. Would definitely stay here again.

Definitely had an enjoyable stay here. Bar is cozy and drafts are 800 krone. Campsite is sufficient and well priced.

Travelled on the last 2 weeks of september. The 5 starts is from comparing it with other camping sites. The bar was nice, we had pizzas and beers for reasonable (islandic prices), and the staff was very friendly.

Loved this campground, the horses, and the pizza. The shower is in the hostel which is to the left of the restaurant, if you're standing in front of it, and you have to pay to use it. Bathrooms are attached to the restaurant and were clean. I'd definitely recommend this campground and would love to stay again.

Best campgrounds we've been to in Iceland. Quiet campsite. The showers and toilets are really clean. The restaurant is cosy. There are no cookie or no washing facilities.

Fantastic views! Not far from Geysir. Quiet, grassy & soft camping. Shared private restroom with outside kitchen/wash area. Shower for extra. Bar on site.

Open to campers and hostel stays in April 2017. A charming pub with pizza and beverages. Clean restroom facilities. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Wake up to beautiful country views.

Fantastic camp ground. Just a few minutes from Geysir. Delicious fresh made pizza hit the spot after a day of exploring. The showers are better than many hotels I've stayed in and at night it was very peaceful and quiet with lots of room over where we parked our camper. Very highly recommended.

Skjol is a quaint, friendly place well off the beaten path on the way to/from Langjokull Glacier. My wife and I ate here on our way back from the glacier, and we were pleasantly surprised. Aside from having very good pizza (probably the best in Iceland), it was much less crowded than the larger tourist stops, the owner was very cool to talk to, and there was also a well stocked bar in case you were planning to crash at the hostel or camp at their campsite.

If you find yourself on a trip to Langjokull Glacier, we highly recommend making this your stop off of choice to refuel.

Beautiful view, helpful staff, not too crowded so you were able to have your own camping space. Amenities were available but we did not use them. Cheaper and much nicer than the nearby guiser campground. And they have a bouncy pad for kids (and adults)!

My girlfriend and I decided to stay here after reading the other Google reviews when we needed a place to stay after seeing Gullfoss falls. We stayed in May, and found the hostel to have the kindest staff/host, good food and beer, all for a good price in Iceland. Definitely take some time to talk to the staff, and you will have a welcoming experience there too!

PS, they have a trampoline.
