The food was very good and reasonably priced. Our order was lost and we waited about 40 min. The owner was very apologetic and refunded our entire bill. It was an honest mistake. Great service.

Horse fillet is awesome! Tender, delicious, perfectly seasoned. Prices are on par with everything else in Iceland, so expect to pay ~2000 isk / person. Horse was 2990 isk. The portions are generous though, and the food is the best thing I've eaten in Iceland so far.

Great food that was reasonably priced. English menus are available, and they took the time to walk us through the large selection of ice cream options before we ordered. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great food and good value . OK I'm back again a year later
Tried more from the menu this time the burgers. So juicy and of a very high standard. The ice cream is nice too and some interesting sundae options. Overall high quality and great value.

We stayed at a nearby hotel for two days and had dinners here for both nights. We ordered pizza and burgers, and they tasted great. The ice cream there was also very nice. They had a Turkish Pepper flavour which I have never tried before. It was surprisingly good!

Right across from where we stayed in Iceland but would've made a little trip if needed. Everything was solid and reasonably priced. They have good Icelandic hotdogs, pizza, sandwiches, and more. Also a few beer and wines on hand and ice cream for dessert at night!

As far as takeaway and buying candy it's an ok place, but doesn't serve as a traditional kiosk/"sjoppa" completely. You can't buy Lottó there.

Ate all of my meals here for my two day stay close by. Food is just like any other skalli. I don't know much about Iceland so I can't comment on prices. The service, however, was unbelievably hospitable. They helped us understand the menus and even helped us with planning around Reykjavik. So 5 stars for service.

We went to Skalli quite many times during our 3 week trip to Iceland. Damn, their pizza is good! They have many different cheeses that you can choose from and they are all rich in flavour. The crust is a work of art, it's thin and crunchy. Their burgers are also good. They have many positions on their menu and you will often find promotions. The food is relatively cheap knowing how expensive Iceland is in general. Everyone is friendly and speaks good English. Great place!
