Interesting to see these pseudo-volcanos and understand how they formed. Just an easy place to see close to Mývatn lake.

So uncommon landscape. They really like a very small volcanoes. Spreading near Lake Myvatn. You can hike them one by one in no time. Lovely.

Interesting micro-craters, and the explanation on how they are formed will captivate the science-minded. Nothing too exciting if you've seen other craters in Iceland, however, and while there is bird-life, it wasn't very diverse while we were there.

The pseudo craters are nice, but they are better from afar then walking around them and looking in the crater does not as much. Also a lot of midges. Better to take your pictures from a short way in the path. We skipped the bird walk due to the midges.

Yet another of the many reasons why the southern side of the lake is a better course than sticking with the Ring Road: these little pseudo-craters are fun to hike around. Great photo ops & views over the lake, and the information signs offer fascinating insight into their formation.

Good place to visit and walk around the lake and admiring the pseudo craters. Big parking lot at entrance. We had the whole place to ourselves, but It was raining cats and dogs when we were there, we only managed to stay for quick photo stop. That said, the place is really beautiful and peaceful.

Kind of boring compared to the other attractions in the close vicinity. The hike is good for children or elderly. Once you've seen one of these craters, you've seen them all. Neat concept but nothing that really demands your time.

Interesting formations about lava flowing over and trapping water. Great views of lake Myvatn from the pseudo crater lip..
