A fun popular tourist attraction just off the ring road in northcentral Iceland. It's a massive horseshoe shaped waterfall you can nearly walk on top of. Known as Godafoss or waterfall of the gods for its beauty.

February 14 epic finish of a long day of hiking and fighting with blowy weather all day. Gorgeous waterfall has been seen from the road and it’s accessible and u can come close to enjoy all perspectives of that monster 12 m Hight and 30 width.

You must visit this place. One of the coolest waterfalls in Iceland. Very powerful, beautiful and must have in your photos. it looks very nice from the top of the road when you are driving from Husavik.

Absolutely beautiful waterfall. Nature is an amazing thing and places like this really put everything into perspective. They have many places to enjoy the view and if you'd like, you can walk around on some of the rocks to get an even better view. Everything was clean and well maintained, as long as people pick up after themselves.

Beautiful waterfall that’s great to see as the last stop of the day. The sunsets between the mountains in the distance giving great sunsets. As well there is a camp ground and restaurant right by it so it’s very convenient. Slightly down stream there is a very scenic pedestrian bridge.

One of the more well known waterfalls in Iceland. It's very majestic and reminded me a bit like the Niagara Falls. Easy to get to and with lots of vantage points for pictures.

You can walk right up to the bottom of this spectacular falls. The left hand approach is better in my opinion. Very photogenic.

One of our favorite waterfalls in all of Iceland. Somehow this one slipped under our radar and it was the best surprise of the whole trip. You must stop here if you are in Northern Iceland.

This spot isn't built up much for tourists yet so you are able to wander around at your own risk. You can get right up to the top of the falls. It is an amazing amount of water.

There is a sign with information about the falls.

There is parking available on both sides of the falls.

Also, if you're a tourist on a bus - don't be a jerk. So many of you are rude, and need a lesson in spacial awareness.

One of the most beautiful waterfall in Iceland. It is easy access, and well maintained around the area. Great for photographer and family visit. Make sure you go to both sides. The west side is right off the parking lot, and the east side requires a short walk before you get to the fall. Both sides have different views. I like east side better because there are less people, and you can get both falls without blockage. On the west side, you can get really close the to fall, but you may not get the full view of both falls.

Fabulous waterfalls! One of the most beautiful and awe inspiring waterfalls I've ever seen. It's never too crowded due to its location and it's fantastic at sunrise and sunset.
