The food was great; (cod) fist and chips and especially the fish of the day - baked salmon and potato. But our favorite part of dinner here was the spinach cake (made by the very nice Polish server)- it was light and delicious.
Restaurant was also clean, very modern with nice decor.
Overall a 5-star experience and well worth the expensive pricing

Was there. Cute, quiet place. With excellent backyard with sea view. Tasty food and warm staff like all Icelanders.

I had a tasty, filling meal here in a neat little town (I love the riverwalk area running between some of the homes and businesses down to the waterfront, I stumbled into it in person here after seeing it on a postcard years ago). Everything was fresh and tasted good; the meal was a little more Americanized than other places I've been, but it was a unique dining experience compared to others I've had so far in the West and North of Iceland and the food still has a local spin.

Fresh creative dishes at reasonable prices (for Iceland ). Vegetables (a rarity in Iceland) Vegan options. Wheelchair accessible. Decor is clean, modern. The orange fire bird was for the music festival in town. Blankets available for outdoor seating. Comfortable chairs in waiting area. Highchairs available. Right on the water. Seal museum underneath, same building.

Got a pulled beef burger with curly fries. Good food, great service and excellent location. Not a long detour from route one. Do recommend.

The meal we had was wonderful. The appetizer we had was warmed cheese, cashews, and honey with salami and crackers. It was delicious. Meat was cooked perfectly. The potato was VERY good. It was nicely decorated. The staff was very nice and helpful. We would mention that the meal did take about 1 hour (which appears to be the case in Iceland) and that it was on the pricier side, even for Iceland. However, it was a great meal, and if we visit the area again, we will be sure to stop here!

Had the Ugly Burger, which came with cooked potatos. Was literally one of the best burgers I've ever had (and I'm from the US, so that's saying something). Decently priced, relative to Icelandic prices. Had a good Icelandic beer on the side, which paired well with the burger. Went to the Seal Museum after, which was a nice touch.

Beautiful place overlooking the sea. The only restaurant in town and it outdoees itself. Lamb and salmon were delicious. Cozy beautifully decorated, very chic open space.

Found this place for lunch. They only serve lunch buffet during lunch hour. Buffet means only lamb, some veggies and lamb soup. Regular serving after 5pm

Relaxed cozy location with wonderful sunset view. We had tasty salmon fillet with delicious vegetables and a fish soup that actually had seafood in it (most don't really put more than 1 shrimp in). Very friendly and knowledgable staff. Will be back.

Really good food! Great ambiance and decor. The building is cool and gives you a great view. We came on a grey day, so the view wasn't nice for us, but oh well. We came early for dinner and as the night went in way more people showed up. This was casual and midrange for prices. Their menu is online, but they also have a fantastic fish soup that isn't in the menu officially yet, but is posted. We had sweet potato fries (he best so far in Iceland), their first burger and he pulled pork burger, finishing off with blueberry ice cream. Nothing was left behind!!!!
