Outside of Reykjavik, this is the place to stay. Friendly staff, amazing views, and clean, elegant rooms. We couldn't ask for more and will return. The food is also well prepared and of high quality.

Definitely a key hotel to stay in if you are spending a night in Siglufjorour. The hotel is modern, clean and staff are simply out of this world. It may be on the pricey side but one would be getting their money's worth with this one.

This is a review of the restaurant only. It was very poor service and the lunch wasn't even that good. Everyone at my table got their food but me. They all finished and nothing for me. It's like they forgot about me. Went and said something and they brought out my sandwich. I think they ran out of French fries as maybe 25% were normal french fries and the rest sweet potato fries ha. Would not recommend for lunch.

Nice clean, spacious rooms. Modern building. Well designed. Cosy hot tub with views of the harbour in the snowy mountains was the highlight. Very nice restaurant. Staff was super friendly.

The hotel decor is awesome. The staff was amazing. The bed was comfortable and the room was cozy. Their outside hot tub is fantastic and the location was great. Why only 4 stars? Their breakfast was absolutely horrible. Eggs seemed processed. The bacon was rubbery and the didn't have a wide selection of fruits or yogurt. It was highly disappointing.

Great hotel in a lovely spot. Bedroom smart and characterful, nicest we have stayed in Iceland. Good choice at breakfast. View from north facing rooms into harbour is great.

Only stayed here for one night but the entire hotel was immaculate. The room was modern and looked brand new, freshly painted and spotlessly clean. Loved the outdoor hot tub and the quaint surroundings. Staff were friendly and helpful, even at 3am when we checked-out.

The hotel is beautifully located in front of the harbour. I love the fact that the doors are automatically open as we enter so my busy hands don't have to worry about opening it. Upon arriving the hotel handed me a cell phone to be used around the hotel. How cool is that? Our room has the only 2 balconies facing the water. Perfectly locatef. It is tastefully furnished with soft seafoam color. I only wish they would have a spa.I think this is the most beautiful hotel in Iceland.

In the center of the herring siglosild. New hotel with everything so stylish.. good and nice service. The hotel is on the pier. Quiet and relaxing place.

The setting is literally one of the most beautiful on the planet. The rooms were very nice, the beds were comfy, the staff was very friendly and helpful — and, again, the setting. My room looked out onto the water and the mountains beyond, and since I visited in late June the sun never came close to setting. I'll be back, for sure.

Lovely building and impressively modern feeling inside. Very nice room and lovely hot tub too. Breakfast was great. Staff seemed a little unsure of everything or new, and although not unhelpful, were less welcoming than you expect at what otherwise felt like a top class 5 star hotel. However would definitely recommend a stay to anyone!
