  While it's not the "local" Cafe, this is a good place to wait out your flight. Sandwiches are fresh and best toasted. Brewed coffee has free refills and you can grab a cup to the gate. High volume of traffic dictates the tidiness but the staff is constantly working on maintaing it.

  The place is dirty, tables and floors are rarely cleaned. The Coffee is expensive but tastes fine.

  Ordered two coffees and two croissants. Payed 10 euros. The coffee was actually hot brown water. Free refill didn't compensate for the bad experience. The croissants were fresh and totally ok.

  This place is nice enough to wait for your plane and have something to eat or drink. Service is non-personal and the staff is not interested. Just like you can expect on airports.
  
  Prices are outrageous like on other airports.

  Best cappuccino design ever. Very tasty cappuccino done properly. Decent selection of pastries and sandwiches. Not gourmet but good for quick airport takeout or sit in. Very large sitting area, open and spacious. Overall food prices are 40-50% lower than downtown Reykjavik in all the fast food places at the airport. Go figure.

  Doughnuts were delicious. Carmel apple muffin was also amazing. Definitely stop here if you are a pastry fan in Iceland's international airport.
