Easy hike to the top of the crater due to a long staircase. You reach the top in 10 mins and you can enjoy the beautiful view.

Easy access, take only few minutes to on the top. Stunning view from the top, with the glacier in the back ! Not the biggest, but definitely worth the stop !

Saxhóll is an interesting crater and specifically a good place to get a view over the tip of Snæfellsnes Peninsula. Access is quite nice as you have steps to walk up to the top of the crater.

Nice example of a volcanic crater easily accessible from the road with good car parking. The climb to the top is relatively easy to access via metal steps with an amazing panarama awaiting you at the top as well as views into the crater itself.

Nice stop on the road! Very easy to get up (there are stairs on the side) and it only takes a few minutes. The view is stunning though. You don't want to miss this!

Aloha! Climb up 400 stairs and get an amazing view of North Snaefellnels. Simply awesome setting for a photo shoot or movie set.

Great stop on the loop. For some reason it did not show up on google maps as a place to visit, but worth it.

Well marked crater with stairs to the top. The day I went was very windy. Made it half way before turning around since the wind was physically knocking me over to the point that I had to hold on to the stairs. (There is no railing) I didn't want to fall off the side of the crater/cliff. Go on a day when it's not too windy. Otherwise I'm sure views from the top are amazing.
