Friday night in iceland is crazy! Lots of rapid jerking movements resembling dance moves along with delightful craft drinks! the amor y amarillo was spicy and tasty

5 golden google review stars for the best bar snack of all time-a cup of Cocoa Puffs. Also for the Night Rider VHS Case menu design. Also for Ivan the bartender who made me a perfect Negroni.

Visited a year ago and we ended up going twice. The first was on a Thurs night where there was a bouncer and a line to get in. This is definitely where a lot of locals went for a "night out". We weren't dressed entirely in hiking gear and weren't denied entrybut we definitely felt out of place. If you have traveled around Reykjavik's bar/restaurant scene enough you'll notice Icelanders dress really well. Keep that in mind if you go on a busy night.
My recommendation: go early when they open to just check out the bar, no wait in line, and try out their quirky cocktail menu. They are creative and very good. Yes expensivebut what isn't in Iceland?response / report this review -

Tourist trap destination with crazy decor and decent cocktails. If you're in Reykjavik you have to stop in for at least one drink to say you've been there.

Very rude guy at the door who said "we only allow people who wear fancy clothes not people coming from the mountains" The only Latino bar in the world that doesn't let Latinos in because they are wearing winter clothes in a country where the temperatures are below 0 degrees and they come from the Caribbean so they cannot take the cold like the locals Very disappointing and unwelcoming attitude.

The have a coco puffs drink that is surprisingly delicious. Tastes like coffee with cream plus you get actual coco puffs on top need I say more?

One star for great decor, one star for friendly service, but three empty stars for the fact that you'll spend a minimum of about 10 euros on a drink which discourages you from staying long to enjoy the place. Briefly enjoyable is what it is.

We met some women here, and the meeting was good, though it did not bear fruit. This is not the fault of the bar. The drinks here we're okay, not very strong, and it would probably be an interesting place to hang out late Into the Night.
Ours ended a bit early, but it was still light outside at 1 in the morning.
Bjork was not in attendance.
