Incredible food. The place is perfect.
Perfect spot. Stopped there only for a coffee, but it was great. Oh and rhubarb crumble was simply amazing. Staff friendly and nice
Probably one of the best meals we had in Iceland. The artic char was delicious and the service was great.
Had great buffet breakfast (Jul 2017). Though it may be the only place that serves breakfast in town it does not cut back, providing good spread and good value (in Iceland where things are indeed expensive, this is place gives value for money).
A terrible place for family members they charge 900kr for one potato, I paid 20,000kr and the kids were hungry hungry after dinner, badly cooked
It was alright. Pricey, as is everything in Iceland. Nice drinks, cozy atmosphere. If you're up for alright food at a premium price, this might be your place.
Great food, both fish and meat, in a very nice atmosphere with relaxed but good service. Offer local beer from a micro brewery nearby but also good wine from far.
免費借廁所的好心餐廳!
Love this place the staff is absolutely wonderful, food good and they also have hotel Aldan and staying there is so cosy 10 + to the staff. 😊😊😚😚
We asked a local in Egilsstaðir for a good place to eat. So he replied, if we wanted something good, we'll better be off to Seyðisfjordur. Either the Sushi Place or the Nordic cuisine (apparently both are from Hotel Aldan). We decided for the Nordic cuisine and well, what do you want me to say:
this place was totally mind-blowing. We had the arctic char "served with a broad bean purée, roasted beets and a bisque emulsion" (got that from the menucard) and the roasted lamb corona and fillet "served with olive tapenade, red carrots, currant salad and crunchy polenta".
This wasn't just throwing in some ingredients and get you a proper meal. This was more like choosing carefully and wisely what would fit together well flavourwise, and end up in a perfect combination.
And this goes as well for the desserts.
So if you want to treat yourself, this is the place to go. Total recommendation!
