The worst customer experience of my life. I wish I had read the reviews before booking with them the Sunlight model motorhome for 15 days. We were charged 561€ for a little skratch on the table (561€ represents a 25% more of the total rental cost). To fix the skratch should not be more than 100€. When I told them that if I was going to be charged for the whole cost of a new table I wanted to take the damage table with me, they refuse to give me the table and their answer was almost insulting. I share It with you so you can judge yourselves: "The manufacturer of the vehicle lists the price for the table top as 563,07 € (see attached screenshot from our ordering system). You were charged for this 561 €. This is a damage compensation, not purchase of the table, so the table will not be handed over to you." I have demmanded this abuse to the local Consumer Agency and I encourage all the angry customers to do the same.

Highly Recommended - super friendly and helpful staff, the RV was in pristine condition (which seems to be valid for the other McRent vehicles we saw on the road as well). And even though we managed to damage our RV in the last possible moment, the staff offered a very customer friendly solution.

The worst customer service of my life. Had a small hit & run incident resulting in two one inch dents, they refused to have a conversation about the incident (although I called and reported immediately) and attempted to charge over €4500 for the damages. I will be submitting a claim to the Icelandic Business Bureau as well as filing a lawsuit against this unlawful behavior. AVOID AVOID AVOID!

We rented a motorhome for 4 people and everything went smoothly. The vehicle was in very good condition, we travelled 9 days and had no problems with it. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They explained in detail what we needed to know about the car and driving in Iceland. The rental deposit was released the moment we returned the car.

We rented a 4-person RV for our 12-day trip around the country.
The overall experience was great, but on our first night the battery wouldn't and the spot to charge devices wouldn't work, we were freezing - so we had to go back for them to fix it (we lost half a day, but we were happy to find out at the beginning).
Service was really nice!

Good motorhomes, seeme to be well maintained, but customer service is poor. We received a different model to the one we had booked (smaller) and were charged an outrageous amount for a broken piece of plastic (550 € for a part that costs 150€ online). That's actually robbing.
