Definitely a comfortable and clean and new feeling option, very nice furnishings and amenities, but doesn’t have a ton of character as it’s more of a corporate airport hotel vibe. Includes breakfast in the morning that is decent but unremarkable.

Very clean room, nice shower and large for five people. Plus a really awesome breakfast.

Hotel was nice, clean, and the breakfast was good. Some of the hotel front desk staff is less than friendly and the maid staff would come into your room even with the do not disturb sign displayed. Overall it was well priced, clean, and convenient to the activities we were exploring for our week in Iceland.

The hotel was nice, clean and the staff helpful. We used the local bus system to Reykjavik. It was easy and ran often. The free breakfast really sealled the deal. All of our tours picked us up right from the front door.

Basic but clean. Not much in the area, but close to the main road into Reykjavik. Good choice if you're renting a car. One thing that lets it down is the service. We stayed for 4 nights. No sign of any housekeeping after day one - tea/coffee not replaced, rubbish bin not emptied during the whole stay, toilet paper not replaced. When we commented on this to reception, we were told we "must be on 50%". Not sure what that means but it's a shame we paid 100% of the price for 50% of the service.

The hotel is very clean and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. There is a good selection at breakfast. The location is great if you have hired a car

Positives - the beds are comfy, be aware they're memory foam, incase it's not for you.
The heating is excellent and can be adjusted manually in your own room.
It's easy to find, with plenty of parking. Be aware that you WILL need a car if you stay here, it's a 20 minute drive into Reykjavik, and we can only find one restaurant nearby. There is a bonus pig supermarket around the corner.
The hot water is also excellent, a very much requirement for this temperature. There are no baths. Every room has a shower.

Negatives - the expensive suites are at the back of the hotel, the view is rubbish. Go for the basic suites at the front that face north. Be aware that if you book a suite and ask to down grade as you want a view, they will Not refund the difference.
There are no tea bags or milk in the room, only Earl Grey. Basic requirements I think.
The evening menu never changes, it's 4 items, yes four. Two burgers one salad and a veggie. It's over priced as well, for the same amount we ate in the centre of Reykjavik.
The breakfast is atrocious. ( I have uploaded pics) it's the worst we have ever seen. Everything is open not covered, even the bread that goes hard every day. The best available is the porridge that's covered, however when they run out they refuse to make you some more, even during service, and are quite rude in enforcing this.

To summarise I wouldn't stay here again, spend 50 more and choose somewhere else.

Concierge desk was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Beds were very comfy. The only downside was the temperature of the room was far too chilly and we were unable to change it.

Comfy beds, warm down comforters, beautiful views from our room, decent breakfast and courteous employees. We especially appreciated the warning about a fierce storm coming in on a day we'd planned to travel Ring Road.

I stayed here the second week in October 2017.I was very pleased on my arrival that I was not charged for an early check-in. However whwn I pushed open my room door, I was greeted by 5 cleaners fixing themselves and then heading towards me now that I opened the door. I reported this to reception and not so much as an apology or explanation during my week at the hotel.

There said there was 24 hour reception but no phone in room, so had yo keep going downstairs when required. There was one bin and damaged shelves but workable. It also states daily room cleaning. I did receive fresh towels and bin emptied and made but floor not vacuumed and. new box of tissue just thrown on shelf but on second to last day room not cleaned at all. I had dirty dishes in my room for three days. I had to complain to gwt dishes out of room and bin emptied.

My room was small and lighting poor. Radiator made alot of noise when turned on and shower drained really bad, was worried a few times it would run into the bedroom area itself. Breakfast was not nice and the same every morning.

The only reason I gave this hotel two stars was because of location. It is yhe first drop of on the greyline from airport and had no problem with tour operators picking me up from there. And the bed and pillows were some of the comfiest I have come across even as I sit here writing this in a 5*hotel in Spain. And the staff at reception were friendly.

Spacious rooms and showers.. great breakfast as well. Got a bit too warm during the sunny afternoon (no AC in the room). A good place to stay before a flight out of KEF. Recommended if you have a car to move around. They allowed us to check out 2 hours late without paying a fee.

Excellent showers & facilities & room design. But the service was a bit slow — honestly recommend it though! You don’t spend much time at the hotel of course. And the breakfast is quite varied & filling. Great skyr ☺️

A budget hotel that is basic, clean and minimal. Lots of school groups can mean lots of late night noise from feral students while their teachers stay downstairs drinking the bar dry.

The staff are nice and the facilities are quite good! The breakfast is the same every morning but it's a very good selection of food. The hotel is attached to a gym but you don't get access it to it with your stay, you have to pay an additional fee to use the gym facilities. The location is not far from Reykjavik and generally accessible by shuttle bus or car. There's also a gas station right outside which is very convenient!

Great location, just outside the city. We rented a car for the time we were there, so getting into the city didn't take long. Staff is awesome: Our flight got in really early and they cleaned a room up quickly so we could check in early and sleep a bit before exploring. Breakfast is basic: coffee, bread, meats, eggs, etc. Bathrooms have a hair dryer and shampoo. Beds are soft and comfortable, though our room was two twins pushed together.

Nice and clean. There is a gym beside the hotel that costs 1500 Kronas one time. Don't come with high expectations then you will not be disappointed. Breakfast is available as well
