Take Your Time, this place is fabulous. There is a lot to look at and read. But there is also interactive stations to listen to and videos playing on the walls.

Interesting museum to learn about the history of Iceland's fishery industry. We spend nearly 2 hours there! Good place for kids as well.

Great small museum with interesting history of Icelandic fishing as well as an illuminating exhibit about the cod's wars.

Visit the museum and get a tour. The exhibit on the cod wars is great. If you can get a tour of the coast guard vessel, that's also pretty cool.

Interesting, if brief, exhibit on the Cod Wars. Canada had the Turbot Wars, so it was interesting to see a similar history.
Disappointed the Óðinn wasn't open (it's only available with guided tours at set times), as that was the main attraction for me.

Il museo in sé è abbastanza interessante, soprattutto nella parte storica (la guerra del merluzzo per un non islandese o inglese non evoca particolari ricordi). Ma la vera star del museo è il pattugliatore rompighiaccio "Odin" che è all'ancora subito davanti al museo. Merita decisamente la visita (possibile solo in determinati orari fissi e guidata, in inglese), e anzi verrebbe voglia di fermarsi ben più dell'ora prevista. Si visita praticamente tutto: il ponte, le cabine degli ufficiali e dell'equipaggio, la sala macchine, il ponte di comandodavvero emozionante, anche perché non è così vecchia da essere di un'altra epocadiversi strumenti ci sono tuttora sulle navi.
