Hot springs which look amazing with a really nice changing hut, but there are some issues; unfortunately people left rubbish behind them, the hot pot is full of dead mosquitoes and the water is not the cleanest. If you ignore all of the above, the bath will be pleasant. One of the benefits is that this place is for free!
Nice place we were all alone there on a rainy afternoon
Looks way more innocent than it is, haha. Now I don't know what's going on with the temperature regulation today but whoooa was it hot hot hot. Cooked my legs (I was in for mere seconds). Worth the detour for sure, but don't just hop in - make sure you can handle it first or else ouch.
Easily one of our most memorable stops. We came there late at night, bathed in the free hot spring, and looked at the stars. I was told It is a replica of the original hot spring Snorri Sturluson used in Reykholt.
