Perfecte plaats om een epische zonsondergang te zien. Gewoonweg fantastisch! Zeer lage bewolking dekt de ocean toe. (zie foto's)

BEST KEPT SECRET IN ICELAND. Follow the dirt road up the mountain and park at the air station. Arrive for mid afternoon, well before sunset. Walk along the plateau heading West until you reach the tip; it will take nearly two hours BUT IT IS WORTH IT!!!).
Massive amounts of fog flows in from Greenland and produces the most beautiful landscape I have even seen in my life; it was like flying above the clouds without being in an airplane (see photos). Walk near the cliff side; you get an incredible view and the cliffs are nearly a 600 m sheer drop into the ocean; have fun throwing boulders over the side.
