This little guesthouse is the literal definition of a guesthouse! Casper and his room mate run the show. Once you come in, shoes off and you are very kindly shown around inside.
“The Wall” is straight ahead as you come in, where visitors have left their messages and greetings as they have stayed, which is a lovely touch. The lounge includes a few sofas and tables for a cosy night of reading, overlooking part of the harbor. There are also plenty of guide books and travel suggestions about to have a look at, as well as a free to use coffee machine, teas, rich tea biscuits and orange-infused water.
The four guest rooms line up with views towards the harbor and are nice and spacious. There is a spotless shared bathroom with bath and shower, and an additional toilet. Wifi is available throughout and works very well.
We had a lovely walk around the village and took our car about 3km further down Road 61 into the fjord to find a great outdoor dinner spot between two waterfalls! Highly recommended if you’ve got your own gas stove, pots and pans.
Breakfast included cereals, meats, bread, cheeses and jams.
Overall, a lovely stay and we felt very much at home with Casper.
