Went in spring so still some snow on the ground and deserted. Lovely to walk through - beautiful trees and views. Rabbits and birds. Benches and a playground.

Great for the outdoors. Has three big playgrounds for kids, also very nice for just having a hike.

Very nice place for a forest, lots of trees and has some playground for little kids, water fountain anywhere. My favorite forest so far in Akureyri.

A fabulous camping site and a great place to take a hike. If you are bringing children to Iceland in a camper or staying in a tent, this is one camping site you do not want to miss. Although not in the town of Akureyri the walk is just about and hour or so.

An amazing forest with lots of artic trees, camp sites, playgrounds, a lake and a lot of cool places to discover. It's a very big forest!
