We had a night in a guesthouse nearby, and came here on the recommendation of some Icelandic people we met in some local hot springs. The food was amazing - we had the lamb of the day and the fish of the day, which were both very good. There weren't many staff on, and service was slightly slow, but would definitely recommend. The meals were around 3,000-4,000 ISK each, though a lot of locals were coming in for takeaway pizza and burgers, which were around 2,500 ISK.

We had he set group buffet the food was very good. There was sweet potato soup which was the best part of the meal. They also had chicken with potatoes and pepper sauce. Fish with mixed vegetables. A selection of vegetables and salad as well as some pizzas

This place was a pleasant surprise. Fresh lobster tails, fish and chips and Goulash were great. And there is a full bar. We went here after spending a few hours in Grettislaug

In a town with few choices, you'll probably be fairly happy if you stick with the pizza, which was much better than we anticipated.

Basically a pizza joint with poor and slow service But as it appears to be the only place in town (there is a bakery open during the day), one has no choice. Avoid if you can.

We had the main plates of Arctic char and lamb. They were very expensive and not worth the price. Compared to all other Icelandic restaurants we have eaten lamb and fish this was our worst experience. The fish was not cooked well and the lamb was so heavy. We haven't tried the pizza but it looked good. They didn't have any soap in either toilets and I let the waitress know. She said her colleague was going to take care of it but her colleague never did. After 15 mins of waiting decided to leave the restaurant with buttery hands. I don't call this good service nor I believe this restaurant deserves 4 stars compared to all the others who work hard to give better service and quality food.

Going by the pictures, I thought this would be too fancy - we were really just looking for an easy meal at the end of a long day. This turned out to be great! The pizza is very good and staff is friendly.
