We stayed for one night and it was a nice and quiet place. Nice location and a good view. All staff was kind. The shower was a little challenging figuring it out. 😁

This was one of my favorite rooms we stayed in! Very comfortable & inviting. The bathroom was my favorite one around the island. Generally located and close to a lot. We went to Salt Bistro for dinner, great burger, which is in walking distance across the street. Would highly recommend!

Hotel is good, rooms are clean and it has all the basic amenities you'd expect. Staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is fairly new and well decorated. However, the breakfast is a sore point unfortunately. They are the only hotel on our trip that didn't include breakfast in the room rate and also the only one that only served breakfast until 9:30 instead of only until 10. Since the room rate is the same as comparable hotels that include breakfast, you might want to compare other options

A pleasant well situated hotel in Egilsstadir. Rooms for this price range are clean and well appointed. Restaurant and bar with happy hour on site.

Just OK. Not as good as the rest of Icelandair hotels. The only hotel where we could not borrow adaptors - you will have to buy it from the hotel. Even small guesthouses offer free adaptors!

Another Icelandair hotel we stayed at during our Iceland trip. Same as the others, the hotel is a typical 4-star hotel offering the expected amenities and quite comfortable beds. Free parking. The hotel is right in the city centre, so everything is close by - restaurants, Bonus (grocery store), gas stations, banks, etc. Why 4 stars? Same as the other hotels - shouldn't have to pay for faster wifi, only pork meat offered during breakfast, and no gym. Would stay here again, though!

Rooms were nice and breakfast was the best we'd had. The real drawback was the up-lighting they had illuminating the side of the building which shined in our room all night and made it really hard to sleep.

A decent hotel with comfortable beds and average room sizes. The restaurant is on the upper end, price wise, but the food is fantastic. The breakfast is good, with a mixture of standard continental, cereals, bacon and egg bit also the chance to make your own waffle! The town is fine, and larger than most in the area with plenty of facilities, but the real beauty is in the surrounding fjords and area, and this is well located to get out to these areas
