  I'm sure it's amazing when the sun is out and the wind is down, but the day we visited I nearly got blown off the rim of the crater (not hyperbole) and the view wasn't worth the grit that's still in my camera lens.

  wonderful view and hike! the bathrooms were clean and nice but you have to pay 200 isk

  Amazing hike! Takes 25mins to go up the steep crater and then another hour to do the whole ring. Definitively worth it after a long drive from Eglisstadir and totally worth the view.

  View from the top was stunning, went in March with snow on the ground but easy hike mostly, bit icy on the top.
