Nice and tidy. The rooms were quite small and the mattress was not comfortable. The choice for breakfast was very nice: not just serial but some cured meats, chees, vegetables and fruit even pickles and solted hearing to try. Staff was nice and friendly. The best was the hot tub with superb views.

We found this hotel to be good value. It was warm and clean. We did not find the bedrooms small as we only slept there. Although I did hit my head on the ceiling a couple of times due to the steep pitch of the roof but that is my own fault. As noted in other reviews there is a sulphur smell in the bathrooms as they use geothermal water for hot water. Coming from a country that chlorinates its water it was great to drink the cold water out of the tap. In the morning we had breakfast which was included and we left full for the day it included yoghurt, toast, deli meats, cheeses, cereals, fruit, juices, tea and coffee. Would stay there again. Good internet speed. Also had a hot tub.

Hotel does not mention that it's on the ocean comet though it is very nearby with an excellent view. Community bathrooms give it a hostel type feel. Hot water is geothermal so it smells a little sulpheric. Room was small but comfortable, walls very thin. Breakfast was good.

Some of the rooms have low ceiling. Amenities are sufficient. WiFi is good. The running water smells of sulfur though. Other than that, the hotel is decent.

Good location, room was quite old and small. all the furniture was very old too. but we have good sea view .Hot tub was not available during winter. the room didn't match the photos on the website. felt like a motel. bathroom small . Breakfast had a good selection.

This place is dusty There are visible dust on the wall and toilet paper holder. The reno is kinda dated. Room is small. So is bathroom. The sheet looks clean.The location is great. You can see aurora right out the door.

Good location, just off route 1 with a good sea view and mountain view on either side. Hot tub available but I didn't have time to use it. I went for the cheapest room option and it didn't match the photos on the website. It felt very much like a motel. Bed was reasonable. Bathroom small but fine. Breakfast had a good selection.

Very quiet hotel in the countryside. But very close to the city: just 10 minutes by car.
The facilities are quite "spartan" only a very small hot tub for all the guest (~16 rooms).
However, given the fact that it is isolated from the city, if you are lucky, you can see the Northern Lights without the need to drive away. We were lucky and we had the only lights in our journey (it rained every days after that)

Very comfortable, clean hotel with extremely polite and caring staff! The breakfast buffet offers a really good range of things, especially bread and islandic (marinated) fish. Each room has a sink, and showers are separated from toilets, which almost avoids waiting times. Very recommendable!

Great place to stay. We happened to get one of the rooms with its own bathroom and balcony. The view is amazing from all sides. The town is minutes away with access to lots of food choices. Lastly the breakfast served is a quite delicious assortment of breads, lunch meats, fish, yogurt, cereal etc.

I booked to the after date, and i realised a day before to come, but when i noticed them kindly they changed it also i arrived in Iceland at 12:00 pm so i arrived the hotel at roughly 4am. But at this late night though owner was very kind and sweet. Furthermore, the other worker in afternoon was very helpful to me gladly :) if she didn't helped me then i suppose to all plan could be stop thank u. And Delicious breakfast was provided and quite bit could satisfied. I would like to visit here at next time too. Totally was alright.
