  It is obviously a beautiful area but when everything is snowed in, it is impossible to pass with a car and turns into long walking in the snow. I would advise visiting this area during a warmer period of time.

  Impresiona veure les formes que agafen les columnes de basalt. Hi ha diferents camins per fer segons el temps disponible.

  Erreichbar von Parkplatz über die 862 . Achtung vom Süden nur mit 4x4. Es gibt mehrere Routen-Optionen entlang der Schlucht. Die Felsen und die Aussicht sind atemberaubend.

  Hljóðaklettar is a wonderland of basalt columns, beautiful vegetation, cliffs, river, creeks and much more. It is part of the hiking trail between Dettifoss waterfall and Ásbyrgi canyon. It is also placed in the stunning Jökulsárgljúfur canyon. It is part of the most beautiful landscape and natural wonders in Iceland.
