DO NOT GO HERE!!! Rude people! Crazy prices for what it is offered! The "bed" was extremely uncomfortable, shared tiny kitchen and bathroom for 6 people

The setting was great but, the additional cost of bedding (46% of the total!) was an unwelcome surprise.

NEVER GO! Find another spot Immediately! NO hot water and horrible host! The surrounding area is lovely and you can find other nice guesthouses with kitchens within 10 in.
The host was more then unkind but forcefully mean and was eager to charge us extra at every moment. She also didn't tell us no dogs in emails and marched us off the land demanding we leave at once (Yet, she owns two dogs). While giving her business of over $1,000 for staying in all three cabins (1 cabin doesn't have shower and the 5 and 3 person house is combined house). She scoured the place for bowls and plates in the wrong place and wanted us to dry all the dishes even though all the wash towels were locked in a closet and she was the only one with a key.
Wretched - do not stay here - it will ruin your experience of such a beautiful surrounding area.response / report this review -

The worst impression of Iceland you could possibly get. Beautiful location (though a pretty rough road to get there), but the owner is just a slice of misery. Unbelievably rude and accusatory, very aggressive, and will find any reason to over charge you for cleaning fees. She was literally going through our cupboards looking at the under side of the dinner plates to see if they were clean enough, and then insisted we pay 1000kr because there was some water drops on the window sill above the sink, and another 1000 because the dish drying rack was still wet. The houses are cute enough, but it's really not worth dealing with the owner, she was right nasty from the first meeting.

Correct seulement car pour le prix on a pas droit à des draps, des couvertures et un vrai chauffage.
Par contre c'est perdu au bout du monde, on dort dans des maisons semi enterrées, c'est donc assez typique.
Derniere précision : bien regarder la carte pour localiser car c'est à une heure de route de la première ville venue.response / report this review -

Don't expect much for the price. The rooms are very small, if you're over 6 feet you'll be hitting your head quite a bit! The beds are also very uncomfortable if you're tall. There's no shower available in some houses and even warm water is also likely not available. However, lodging is scarce in this area and if you're only staying for a night on a road trip, it's a cheap alternative.
