My friends and I did the Viking Ride in winter time and sure, it was a memorable rode as none of us had any experience in riding a horse 😁. Our guides were helpful, the horses were cute and fluffy. They don't always do what you want them to do, but the guides were always helpful. It was a bit scary when the horse ran because I felt like my butt was flying off my seat and I didn't know where to hold. But anyway, the scenery was fine. I would recommend it. And if you do it in the winter, make sure you're fully prepared with warm gloves and scarves.

Absolutely WONDERFUL. We did the Viking Ride, and it was gorgeous! Everyone here is very nice and helpful. Our guide Julia was very personable and knowledgeable, and made the ride extra special. Definitely put this place on your Iceland "to do" list!

Wonderfully friendly staff! The short tours are likely a better choice for beginning riders who can appreciate the supportive guides, rather than more experienced riders looking for stunning landscapes.

    A great experience in iceland!
I booked a daytour by telephone two days before. I was alone with my guide (Giulia) and it was really amazing! Great guide, wonderful nature and well trained horses! I felt safe and in good hands all the time. I can really recommend this horse tour :)

Did their horseback riding tour which was amazing. Definitely recommend this tour. The guides, Marika and Giulia, we're very good at explaining the techniques and the trail was enjoyable. Would do it again!!

Very nice tours. We took the 2 hour tour which ended up being the perfect fit for us.

Very friendly and personable staff. The gentleman at the check-in center gave us clear directions to the stables. The horses were lovely and easy to ride for beginners/out of practice. The ride itself was a little disappointing - we had a two hour tour along a wide valley with a little stream. After the first twenty minutes or so it got a bit boring. However, it was enjoyable trying the "tölt" gait, we crossed the stream several times, and our guide graciously used our phones to take a few photos for us. (Another perk of choosing the two hour tour was that most people were registered for the one hour tour, so we ended up as a private group!)

We loved Hestasport. On arrival we were warmly greeted and directed to the horse centre. We met our horses (not ponies) and went out with our German guide passing hot springs and cliffs, crossing rivers (several) and going up and down small inclines. We tilted and tried a gallop. It was a real pleasure and made us want to go horseriding everywhere else we went.

It was not my highlight of the trip, the intermediate group was at the same time as the beginners so it was not exactly as they announced it in the website, the river crossing was basically a small rain pond that horses use to drink from. So pretty boring. Nice horses though.

Eine Woche Pferdespaß mit beeindruckenden Touren, ganz besonders lieben Pferden (solchen Pferden kann man auch im schweren Gelände vertrauen) und tollen Tourguides. Wir waren sehr begeistert und kommen gerne wieder.
