Beautiful church. You can explore for free, but they charge to visit the bell tower/observation deck. Not much up there but nice views. the bell rings it will scare the bejeezus out of you!

At 74.5 meters, you would have been able to see all the activities of Reykjavik's year as European Capital of Culture in 2000 from the tower of this church and sometime concert hall.
