Toilet is the dirtiest of all my 14 night stay in Iceland. You have to hike to the swimming pool to get a shower, and it's quite expensive. Luckily we showered at Drangnes hot tubs before staying.
Have stayed at different campsites for 15 nights, this is the worst. Expensive shower facilities at swimming pool, kitchen closes at 8.30pm, toilets are smelly and dirty
Kitchen closed after 8.30pm. Showers cost 800kr. Not the greatest camping in Iceland.
Easily to find a place where to settle the tent. The only problem was that, except the cost (1240) which is not that much, the showers weren't included. The only option was to pay the entrance in the pool (800) close to the camp, which is also the one which is in charge of the campsite.
Nice harbor town
We loved Hólmavík though perhaps the weather had something to do with it. Beautiful town with good facilities to start exploring the Westfjords.
Gorgeous small city with picturesque houses by the harbor and a good infrastructure for travelers.
Ok Camping, very basic, somewhat irregular grass in some areas Washer & Dryer available, no kitchen. Community pool is right next to it.
